Marketing Experts Share Insights on Increasing Sales By Capturing the Powerful Women's Market
Hartford, Conn. - April 6, 2005 -- Marketing Executives from around the globe will convene at the Chicago Cultural Center, April 18 & 19 to attend M2W-The Marketing to Women Conference and hear from business experts on the importance of building share in the largely overlooked, but increasingly dominant women's market.

Women account for 85% of all consumer purchases. American women spend roughly 6 trillion annually. From category to category, women account for the majority of the purchasing decisions. "Women represent the most diverse, dynamic and economically powerful force in today's consumer marketplace. Moreover, women today are not just supporting businesses from the checkout line, they are running them from the boardroom", explains Grant Schneider, VP with Time Inc. Women's Group and M2W keynote speaker.

Attendees will learn why selling to women is not the same thing as simply selling to the consumer, and why increasing sales in the lucrative women's market will be critical to the fiscal future of almost any consumer brand.
