Tom Peters Identifies Women's Market as Opportunity #1 at M2W- The Marketing to Women Conference
Hartford, Conn. - May 6, 2005 -- Marketing Executives from around the globe gathered at the Chicago Cultural Center, April 18 and 19 to attend M2W-The Marketing to Women Conference and hear from business experts on the importance of building share in the largely overlooked, but increasingly dominant women's market. Attendees came from Ireland, Canada, England, Denmark, Mexico, Spain, Japan, Australia and the US to take part in the sold out two-day conference covering all aspects of marketing to women.

World renowned business leadership guru, Tom Peters provided taped video addresses to M2W attendees from Dubai, India. Peters offered several strong views on the topic of marketing to women saying, "I wanted to be a part of this day, come hell or high water. I have been a strong proponent of marketing to women. Women are not a niche." Peters went on to emphasize, "Bust through the walls of the corporate silos. One must bring the Total Enterprise to bear in this enormous opportunity." Peters concluded by urging, "Get out there and take advantage of Opportunity Number One. You can't afford to leave this kind of money on the table!"

Marketing executives attending M2W experienced a unique event including activities rarely found at business conferences like: early morning guided walks, peer networking breaks, a photographic gallery exhibit and an exclusive showing of the smash Broadway comedy, Defending the Caveman.
